Story

I created this piece as a 2 part series to gumai gumera (big love)

It's important to have gumai gumera but it’s equally important to gumera bullei (love yourself)  often in gumera we forget to do this so I created this work to remind oneself of exactly that.

The symbology in the background is all the humans around you that can bring gumera into your life.  They can be family, friends, co-workers or even your online community.  The textured symbol in the foreground is bullei, they are the most important person to gumera, because if you don't those around you will never be able to gumera you fully.
