Story
Before the modern technology of drones to see from narin (above) would require you to transport yourself to the eyes of the noagbils (birds) to see what they see from narin.
This contemporary artwork tells story of the minbunn (eagle) soaring narin ya burgar (above the ocean) hunting for food in the shallow waters of the burgar on a low tide. The dark blue colour symbolises the deeper water contrasting with the light blue for shallow water. The dot work symbolise the banks you see from above that create deep between the banks.
Whenever I look at this piece I feel calm, I feel light, I feel free like a minbunn and I can only hope that throughout my pieces you are transported there with me to share these experiences.
